Lady Gaga and Marc Jacobs on V

One thing is for sure when you book for your magazine cover: you’ll be paying for plenty of skin.

Gaga covers V Magazine this month as her version of the Statue of Liberty alongside . Dubbed the New York Issue, the “V” is written in bubblegum—naturally.

While some may be outraged at Gaga’s impersonation, I’d have to say that it’s not nearly as shocking as other issues and figures she’s tackled, on top of the fact that this is a magazine that once featured a topless Adriana Lima whose chest could be seen by scratching off the “V” letter.

Alber ElbazWhile they initially had people guessing, H&M revealed Lanvin to be the next fashion house to collaborate with the global brand.

The Swedish high street brand - which has previously collaborated with , Madonna and Karl Lagerfeld on cheaper ranges - has created a range of luxury clothes in conjunction with Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, who has previously said he would never work with a mass market store.

“H&M approached us to collaborate, and to see if we could translate the dream we created at to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.”

H&M’s creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch added the brand was “thrilled” about the collection: “We are thrilled about Lanvin’s collection for , it is such an exciting moment. Lanvin will bring to H&M a luxurious French tradition that is also modern and playful. It is very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men.” The range will hit stories on November 23.

Lindsay Lohan

She may be out of jail, but judging by ‘s outfit yesterday, she’s still committing a major crime of public indecency.

The former child star returned to the courthouse to meet her probational officer wearing this. I’ll give her points for the Alexander Wang bag, but none are being awarded for the extremely unflattering thigh high socks. I get that she’s trying to pull a just-rolled-out-of-bed-and-this-is-how-fabulous-I-really-look (otherwise known as the Nicole Richie) style, but it just isn’t cutting it. You need to let your accessory line go, Lindsay.

Bar RefaeliBar Refaeli gets upset when she sees painfully-thin models.

The Israeli supermodel - whose curvy-yet-toned body is the envy of women all over the world - hates seeing young girls look so unhealthy and wants them to be encouraged to put on some weight.

“I get so sad when I see 15-year-old pale extremely skinny models at the agency looking all shaky and hungry. when will it end?!?!? (sic)” she posted on her .

She has also hit out at women who have plastic surgery, saying they are setting a bad example to young girls: “Seriously. plastic surgery is not helping your impact on young women or your looks.”

Despite being voted one of the world’s most desirable women, Bar recently revealed she feels at her sexiest when dressed in simple clothes. “It’s mainly about how you feel. I wouldn’t feel sexy if I was walking around in high heels, a tight top, huge earrings and an elaborate hairdo all day. But there are women who seem confident and sexy like that. It’s a lot about how you move in your outfit and if you feel comfortable in it. I like comfortable clothes - long dresses, jeans, shorts. I like it simple and prefer not having to accessorise a lot.”

Her upcoming collection with be her 14th for the brand, and it is believed she has earned $4.6 million from the ranges. Julianne Moore for Bulgari

For a city known for its Renaissance paintings that feature plenty of women wearing little clothing in a continent that seems to wonder why many Americans fear nudity, it may come as a shock to many that Venice, Italy has banned the above Bulgari ad, starring actress from its scheduled billboard duties.

“An advertisement showing a nude woman on a divan is not appropriate for St Mark’s Square,” Mayor Giorgio Orsoni said.

While Moore may not have clothes on, the smiling, playful lion cubs seem to diffuse the expected sexual charge of the photo. That, of course, wasn’t enough for the folks who oversee what is posted around their city…
